About Ministry
The Word of God says in 1 Timothy 4:12,
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (KJV)
The Lord has called the young people for more than keeping tradition or building up numbers in a congregation. He has called youth to be leaders and examples as they are the future church.
The role of our youth department is to provide an environment for the spiritual and temporal development of our young people through guidance, support and teaching them to walk in accordance with the Word of God.
In doing so we create leaders equipped and ready to make an impact for Jesus Christ and positively contribute to the growth of their church, community, nation and most importantly the Kingdom of God.

YOUTH GROUPS
The church has three groups: Faith, Love and Confidence.
These groups participate in friendly competition as a part of our Annual Youth Congress.
Competitions include Art, Essay, Spelling Bee, Bible Quiz, Culinary, Stall and Drama.
CONFIDENCE Youth Group
Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. Hebrews 10:35
The dictionary defines the word confidence as full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a person or thing.
An important attribute in the child of God is confidence in the Lord to follow His precepts and to be rest assured that if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us (1 John 5:14).
We here at Group Confidence are more than the big red group that competes in youth congress activities. We are a family that helps you to develop your talents, build great courage and strengthen your walk with Christ.
It is time to follow the blazing red fire lighting the way to victory and use your God-given talents for His glory.

FAITH Youth Group
Good Day everyone and welcome to group Faith!
Group Faith is one of the groups that participates in our church’s biggest annual youth event held in July, Youth Congress. We have had successful and at times challenging years but as the scripture declares, “we can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth us”, and so we are propelled to excel each year. Faith is a family-orientated group. We seek to build and assist our members in all ways possible. We believe in growth, development, and helping one another on this Christian journey. We do not only want to focus on participation in events but also the spiritual aspect of the group members because we believe that every event and activity that we do should have a purpose behind it that glorifies God.
We encourage everyone who isn’t a part of a group to come on board with the ‘Blue’ and give their support. Get a chance to display your talents and skills and fulfill the purpose that God has called and equipped you to do. We are all called to work together, as we are workers together in Christ, not just to build the natural man but most importantly to also build the spiritual man.
God bless you!!

Retreat. Revive. Reignite.
Our Annual youth camp is a time for young people to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend some quality time rekindling and strengthening their personal relationship with God. Through heart to heart and judgement free conversations we discuss issues that affect our young people and how to overcome them.
This experience is a chance for you to come out of your comfort zone, develop new friendships, learn new things about yourself and gain skills and values that take you through life.
If this sounds like the place for you or your child then stay tuned for further updates on youth camp 2024!

Camp is a place that holds a very large place in my heart. As a camper, I not only learned how to appreciate nature and make lasting friendships, but I also met God, which fills me wit h so much joy. What is special to me about camp? It is that you detach completely from your normal routine, and it is replaced by a week that has every aspect centred on Christ. Every activity is based on the spiritual benefits you will receive from it. When I get home, I am not the same, I find renewed vigour in serving the Lord. Camp is a spiritual camp that is actively assisting you in your faith, and then helping you put your faith into practice. I come back to camp because it has this real, clear commitment to discipleship and spiritual growth, more than any other camp setting I have been in and really any other setting with youth or people my age. It is pretty unique. Looking back, I can see how God has used it specifically as a camper and staff to deepen my relationship with Him and develop and mature my understanding of who He is.

My first time going to camp was quite interesting because I honestly did not know what I was walking into. I mean, I have been to camps before but not to this camp in particular. I was going to be amongst persons who were completely foreign to me. With uncertainty of what to expect and a bit of optimism I went to camp in 2018. I arrived on the Thursday or Friday night along with my brother Kitson and Sis. Syisha. I recalled feeling a family-like welcome. The display of love was genuine. I didn’t feel like a stranger. I remember when I went on the dorm and the guys were having a discussion and instantly I joined🤣. We talked about various things and we closed with a prayer. The next morning, we had early morning prayer and tarrying service and the Lord has His way. It was in that service I was totally assured that we were one body - different in operation but of the same Spirit. Although I had only been there one day and night camp revived me and I told myself I had to be there the following year and so said so done. The following year I was at camp and the same spirit of fellowship was there. The Lord did bless us and I was revived once again. For this I am truly grateful for camp and the opportunity to be amongst the young people and the brethren from Bethel.

I went to camp with the mindset that I wanted to go higher level spiritual and strengthen my relationship with Christ and that was exactly what happened. Being at camp the presence of God was undoubtedly felt each and every day of being there. My spirit was so enriched. Being in that type of environment especially with children my age was truly a blessing and I hope that everyone would have that opportunity to seek Christ.
